Offering more music for grades 6-9 than any previous Hi God volume, the collection includes several songs for confirmation. Students in the upper grades will especially enjoy "Never Too Young," the title track from OCP's groundbreaking middle school resource. This catchy, rock-style song affirms that no one is too young to serve and preach the Gospel.
Psalms, songs for first Eucharist, Christmas, and more
"The Lord Is My Light" is a spirited setting of Psalm 27. A rollicking song of praise, "Let Us Go Rejoicing!" is well suited for First Eucharist and the opening of the school year. "A Holy Song of Joy," based on Psalm 150, gives children a chance to try new instruments. Songs for younger children include "God's Shining Stars" and "Go Where I Send Thee," Carey's arrangement of the Christmas spiritual.
